When I was young we used to have strawberry punch for Christmas. I remember sitting in the living room of my grandmother's and waiting eagerly for the holiday drink to be served.
Off course, we kids got our own "kids punch". It's the same recipes, just replace the wine with soda or juice.
For me, winter is the perfect time for strawberry punch (with or without wine).
By the way, if it's really cold, you might want to try a favorite of mine: the hot Strawberry Punch. Add a little bit of sugar to any of the holiday strawberry punch recipes below and boil it for a minute or so. It's the perfect warm-up after skiing or being outside in the snow for a while.
