1 fully ripe, flecked with brown, banana
Lemon juice
1 cup fresh strawberries, halved and chilled
1 - 1 lb. can fruit cocktail, well chilled & drained
1 cup melon balls, chilled
1 small bottle ginger ale, chilled (approx. 12 oz.)
Peel banana, slice on bias and dip in lemon juice. Combine with remaining fruits. Cover and chill.
Just before serving, pour ginger ale over fruit. Ladle into chilled sherbet dishes.
Makes 6 servings.
