Frozen strawberry juice is one of the easiest recipes. But it's also good looking as well as deliciously tasting.
This strawberry drink is perfect just about anytime -- from breakfast to a light dessert at the end of the day.
Freezing the strawberries first will make thicker, more flavorful drinks. Or add more apple juice if you like a thinner consistency.
I like to have my strawberry smoothie in the evening after a hard day of work. Then I sit on the balcony, enjoy the sunshine and relax with a glass of my favourite non-alcoholic strawberry drink.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 cups water (tap water or mineral water)
- 4-5 teaspoons sugar
Directions:
Pour frozen strawberries into an Oster speed blender and add water. Blend until smooth. If you don't like the texture, add water until good. (I like the texture very thick.) Add sugar to your liking. Ready!
It tastes best when fresh and still cold, but you can also leave it and drink at room temperature.
