Hello,

If you're planning to grow your own strawberries in your garden or on the balcony, now is the time to plant them. The earlier in the year you plant them, the more time they have to grow and give you many delicious fruits!


Strawberry Stracciatella Cream

This desert will make you remember your last vacation in warm climate, you'll start dreaming of all the ice creams and terrific Italian deserts you have eaten. It's a delight and very simple: preparation takes only 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60g) 70% cocoa
  • 1 cup (250g) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup (150g) yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup 250g) strawberries

Serves 4.

Directions

Melt chocolate using the double-boiler method or in the microwave.

Thoroughly mix cream cheese, yoghurt and sugar.

Use 4 cocktail glasses and carefully layer alternately cream cheese mixture, chocolate and strawberries. Put cream mixture first and last and top with a single strawberry and a mint leaf if available.

Kitchen Tip

Biscuits will be crisp on the outside and flaky in the center if you roll the dough thin and fold it over once before cutting out biscuits. They'll also split open easily when you're ready to butter them.
