Strawberry Chocolate Kisses

A delicious little dessert that is the perfect alternative to the "usual" strawberry cake.

Eat it at coffee time or as a treat after your meal.

Small portions will make it easier for you to indulge without eating too much :-)

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces (60g) chocolate with at least 70% cocoa
  • 2 ounces (60g) butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 16 big strawberries
  • 16 praline paper molds

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 350°F (180°C). Meanwhile melt chocolate and butter.

Separate egg white from yolk. Stir yolk with one tablespoon sugar until frothy.

Whisk stiff egg white and slowly add one tablespoon sugar.

Mix chocolate, melted butter and egg yolk. Carefully fold in stiff egg white.

Allocate dough into 16 paper molds and bake 20 minutes in oven. Let cool down at least 10 minutes.

Mix powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon water for icing. Pour one drop of the icing onto each of the chocolate kisses.

Crown each kiss with a strawberry. Use additional powdered sugar for decoration to your liking.
