Issue # 5

Hello,

Thanks for subscribing to Strawberry Recipes!

I hope you will enjoy this ezine. Please do me a favor and forward it to your friends.

October is almost over, which means that temperatures are dropping rapidly and winter is coming. It started having this ugly weather I hate so much: rain, fog and cold (at least here in Europe).

Once the summer has gone we tend to eat less fresh fruits, whereas we should even eat more to keep our immune system at height. So here you’ll find some fast and easy strawberry recipes for the winter days.

Here’s my all time favorite which can replace a whole meal and is super easy to prepare:

Banana Strawberry Shake

Ingredients

- 1 banana peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup fresh or frozen stawberries
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
- Sugar
Serves 2

Directions
Put everything in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add sugar according to your taste. Pour into a long drink glass and enjoy!
Low-Carb Tip: The milk can be replaced with soy milk or skim milk.

This one’s a bit more complicated, but even more delicious:

Banana Orange Strawberry Shake

Ingredients
Serves 2
- 1 banana, frozen
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup milk
Use same directions as above.

And last but not least:

Strawberry Banana Apple Shake

Ingredients
- 1 banana peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 cup fresh or frozen stawberries
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
- Sugar
Serves 2
Use the same directions as above.

By the way, here are some steps you can do in order to achieve a healthy immune system and keep away the flu during this autumn and winter:

1. Get adequate sleep.
2. Eat a nutritious diet.
3. Maintain a reasonable level of exercise.
4. Avoid stress.
5. Supplement with nutrients that have a scientifically proven record for building up immune systems.
Many natural ingredients have been found to be effective immune boosters, i.e. various vitamins or herbal extracts. However, the four most effective substances are:

• Mucilagionus Polysaccharides from Aloe Vera
• Beta Glucan
• Maitaki mushroom extract
• Black Cumin extract

Not all Aloe Vera's are the same...

Even with the beneficial Aloe Vera extract you cannot be sure to have an effect of your immune system, unless you use the type that is harvested and prepared in a special way which involves spray drying and concentrating to 200:1. As you can imagine the common aloe vera extract you can usually buy is much less expensive, but doesn’t have the same beneficial effects.

The high-quality type of Aloe Vera powder that I am referring to is used by only a few companies, like Xtend-Life.

If you follow at least two or three of the steps laid out in this article, you have a very good chance of seeing the winter through free from colds and flu's.

**** IMMUNITY PROTECTION ****
The immunity stimulating blend contained within Xtend-Life Total Balance is arguably the most advanced on the world market today. It contains a special fraction of Aloe Vera Polysaccharides along with Beta Glucan, Maitake mushroom extract and natural fibers within a soon to be patented formula.

If you are interested in maximizing your resistance to bugs and virus's this coming winter, then would be a good choice for you.
